STUDIO RIOJAS was founded by Steven (Steve) Riojas following a successful career of over 40 years as an architect, urban designer, urban planner, project executive, and for the last 11 years, business sector executive for a $120M+ net revenue per year practice. For over 20 years, Steve led science, technology, and education sectors for national / international design firms, executing projects and business strategies in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. During the global financial crisis of 2008-2009, and the COVID-19 pandemic, Steve carefully guided a global practice through industry instability, rebounding each time to an even stronger, more resilient position.
